The first week of Notre Dame football training camp is in the books.
A week Marcus Freeman feels positive about.
“I’m really pleased with the overall performance,” Freeman said during a 1-on-1 conversation with WSBT 22 sports director Pete Byrne on Thursday.
“We’ve had a couple of injuries but the first 8-9 days have been really good. This group is developing and getting better. These next two weeks will be really critical for our preparation getting ready for the first game.”
Freeman’s approval comes despite a few key week one injuries.
